I think maybe I'll just be dirty......

I don't want to risk wax with the car being painted yesterday.

I have several bottles or Adams waterless wash. I think I'll just go that route and then go over it with detail spray.

You might want to be careful with the waterless wash, then. I think the instructions suggest you should have waxed the car not too long before using that product.

I'll take a look. Worst case I'll just have to be really gentle and use detail spray and a fresh microfiber.

Just called the motel and cancelled the 3 extra rooms so it'll just be the 3 of us I think plus Italy and MKG if they come down to meet up with us.

I don't think it'll need much. I have an 80 mile drive on Fri but the weather is supposed to be clear here tomorrow/fri.

Waiting anxiously for D&V to call me and tell me to come get the car. They said 4-5 but I'll probably go down later to avoid 66 and 495 during rush hour because **** that noise.

If you guys are worried there are a TON of SHeetz gas stations here and they all have touchless washes. I used it a lot to keep salt off of my car and the paint looks great still.

I don't even trust detailers.

this one is ok. i only let do certain things. pretty much my interior since i dont have all the right stuff and trust myself with my seats and the suede micro whatever lol. he butchers wax jobs since he rushes it with a buffer wheel and it's just sloppy.

So... I think I have a solution to the weather issue:

This thing is freaking huge.

Looks a little goofy because it's on a hill.

dmhenderson 05-08-2013 04:09 PM

...and if it doesn't rain, we can easily all fit underneath it.
