Good coat of wax and some detailing spray and microfiber cloths should make it easier to remove the bugs. Just let the spray soak in to their little bodies for a few and they should wipe right off. Hit it again with the detailing spray and again with dry cloth and should be good as new.

i'll probably end up waxing it this weekend or next weekend so that will help.

So uh, Check this sh*t out. If this stuff works...

3M Paint Defender Spray Film with synthetic wax - Sprayable Paint Protection Film, 90000 - 3M Auto

It's basically spray-on clearbra o_O

ZCarMan 04-26-2013 05:01 PM

Interesting, how much?

dmhenderson 04-26-2013 05:03 PM

Looks like about $25 per can

I figured it wouldn't be inexpensive but I'm interested in if it really works or not. Since I already have a clear bra installed I wouldn't need it but for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money, this could be useful if it truly works.

Yeah I don't want to be the guinea pig but I would use the hell out of this if it works

But I'm scared haha idk if I got the balls to be the first to do it ahhhh lol

What if its like a clear plastidip and comes right off or it could fck it all up lol

dmhenderson 04-26-2013 06:35 PM

The guy on facebook who has used this says it peels off quite easily so long as you wax the car first. He says it peeled off in a single sheet.

Imagine being able to spray this stuff on before a road trip or long drive to a show, then peeling it off once you get there.

I have such high hopes...

Add me on facebook. There's an ongoing conversation with the guy who used it.

i'm wondering on what to do about washing my car after the 3 hour drive out there since i am in the show field even tho i am in no way going to win lol

If I'm not mistaken, they have a car wash area near the entrance for people who actually drive to the show.

This sounds mildly familiar and accurate.
