Edit: I mean, if you're right and the FI exhaust is "a lot of hype", there are other gearheads on the forum that would have ripped it to pieces by now...right? |

I'm not even saying FI is bad? I'm just saying its highly recommended so no one cares to try one off setups. FI is amazing and has proven results. Its a good exhaust system with great gains. |

I agree that there isn't much of a market for homemade stuff, but at the same time, most people who get a 30+k car don't wanna take it to bobs exhaust shop for a $150 exhaust... (not saying that's what you're doing, but just using it as reference) I want you to hit 330, don't get me wrong. It will show me the reason I'm not is because something is wrong = needs fixing. Rather than "It's running fine, it just runs low" because right now that answer is not sitting well with me. Based on what I've seen with others, my numbers are low for a reason. And if you can tag it, it's possible. |

Also no offense to AAM but they are GTR guys. I'd go to RAD or RT tuning for the tune. And no I understand not everybody wants to do that with an exhaust. I just figured there would be more people willing to play with mixing the prefabbed parts is all. Idk were talking miniscule gains here but I truly believe that 330 would be obtainable. Too bad I has no proofs ): |

That is true, but I like to give them the benefit of the doubt that they know what they are doing. The other guys RAD, and RT are so far away from me it would be a weekend trip, and I can't afford that plus I don't think they're open on weekends anyways? :icon17: I'm not sure most people have the resources or desire to tackle that sort of thing... Too much measuring and cutting and welding, to need to remeasure, cut and weld, 5 more times... :icon17: |

And yeah i dont know shop hours. I think RT is partially open saturday and theyre close to me being out near philly. Cutting and welding...Uhg such uhhh "fun" times. |

If I can't find resolution beforehand, I might take it to RT or PTuning later in the year for a second opinion. The fact I've asked for information and haven't gotten word back in over a week is not making me feel comfortable about it. :ugh2: I'll have to look into RT, maybe we can work out something. I already have the UpRev license, so that cost should no longer be needed right, just dyno pulls? |

Wow, that's crazy... Gonna have to check in on that one day. |

2wd dyno tuning: $200/hour... Hopefully since the hard work is done (initial tuning) I wouldn't need much work, perhaps troubleshooting/adjusting, so one hour would theoretically be enough for me... Might definitely want to give them a call... Hmmm just under 3 hours driving time, so roughly 2.5 hours for me.
Would have to be doing the tune in the afternoon... Gonna have to at least ask them about it. |
