Are those halos yellow?

dmhenderson 01-27-2013 06:02 PM

Nah. They all look like that when they're off.

dmhenderson 01-27-2013 06:54 PM

Figured this would be a good place for us to store our projects so that whenever someone gets a great idea to do something, they can check here first to see if we have f'ed up horribly in the past.

eastwest2300 01-28-2013 11:30 AM

Im gonna dynamat the entire inside of the Z. Thats on the radar.

dmhenderson 01-28-2013 11:59 AM

I have two giant rolls of that GTmat stuff. I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

eastwest2300 01-28-2013 12:01 PM

How much did it run you? how much of that suff did you get?

eastwest2300 01-28-2013 12:02 PM

Im looking at getting 24sq ft of it.

dmhenderson 01-28-2013 12:15 PM

I got the lesser thickness. I think I got 25 sq feet plus another 10 sq feet sample. Honestly, I forget how much it cost. There were a couple coupons. It was less than $100 for sure.

I contacted GTmat directly. I had no idea there was another option.

Our butyl based deadener just got in last week. When you purchased, it was not an option. Remember I posted about it being new and you asked if it was Dynamat? :stirthepot:

eastwest2300 01-30-2013 06:29 PM

Im about to order some good stuff, thanks to Pint.

I bought it like 2 months ago. We had that conversation like ...last week.

Exactly....:ugh2:

We have had the 50 (Pro) and 80 (Ultra) available since we launched last summer.

I had sent two separate quotes for both on 12/12/12. You stated you wanted the same thickness as the sample size which was the 50mil. I quoted that solo and you paid. So, I'm a tad confused as to why you would be unhappy. :o

If you want to trade up for the 80 or 70, let me know and we can work on getting what you have back provided it has not been installed.

dmhenderson 01-30-2013 06:55 PM

I think we're not connecting here somehow. I'm fine with what I have...?
I just haven't installed it yet.

Ooooh. For some reason I read your messages as implying that you were provided incorrect information and unhappy with the discount product.

My offer still stands though. If you would like to upgrade to the butyl deadener or the ultra, I would be happy to help you out. :tiphat:

dmhenderson 01-30-2013 07:49 PM

No no. I didn't realize GTmat and Dynamat weren't the same thing. That's all.
