Holiday projects?

Ok so my shopping is done. Girlfriend doesn't get time off but my last day of work is Thurs and I'm off until the 7th. I'm going to go insane by day 4.

Plans so far:
-Order another 25 sq feet of GTmat stuff and install.
-Clay bar/3 stage wax/polish.
-Fluid check
-Oil change
-Buy halo 4 and resident evil 6. Dust off Xbox
-drink heavily
-shop for a new watch. That new movado bold titanium orange thing looks slick.
-???

Sounds like a good project list.

I'm probably gonna be throwing mud flaps on my WRX shortly after the holidays.

Nice, I wish I can take off a week :shakes head:
Shado, please don't throw those mud flaps away, I'll see if they can fit on my 4x4 as I go "off-road" a lot.:tiphat:

Eat.
Drink.
Eat.
Drink.
Drink.
Install illuminated kickplates. (May change LED color if I'm feeling ambitious)
See what the wifey ordered from the Z store!

  • Oil Change
  • Make Oil Cooler Block Off Plate
  • Drive to Atlanta/Back
  • Install Winter Wheels/Tires

dmhenderson 12-16-2012 08:09 PM

Kick plates will take you 20 minutes if that. Use an un-twisted coathanger and some electric tape to fish the harness behind the console.

I want these, but I feel like they're something I would prefer to have dealer installed...

If you Don't have them, is the harness to plug them in already prewired and plugged, just hidden, or will I have to cut/splice/tap connections in myself?

dmhenderson 12-16-2012 09:41 PM

They are completely pre-wired and takes 10-20 minutes to install. My dog could install them

No cutting or splicing required. They're beyond easy.

I want to change the LEDs to red on mine but I hear that's actually kinda hard

I'd want to do this as well to match my theme, but I am not proficient at LED wiring, and the only person I knew on here who did it, doesn't anymore. :(

swap out one of XwChriswX' brake calipers
