MD emissions are all done by the county - it's not a "State inspection" thing you can get done at a shop.

Zippy chance LTHs would fly around here.

PA is county specific for emessions. Its seperate from inspection. If they dont do sniffer tests then youll pass. These throw no codes and all emissions lights give the green light for pass. idk.

Well I only have off for Christmas and New Year's, but no real mod plans for the holidays. Already installed my sway bars 2 weeks ago. Need to swap out the melted headlight lens once it gets warm again outside. Also gonna pick up some Pilot Super Sports for the spring.

End links?

Anyway, yeah if I remember right, both plugs were on the passenger side but I could be wrong. It has been a couple years since I've done it.

Fishing the cable isn't too hard - like I said, use a coat hanger and a little bit of electric tape and fish it behind the steeing column.

Yeah, from what I've heard the AL is suuuuper thin. Just to be there to be there.

Yep, the harness plug is on the passenger side.

Ah. Do you route it through the interior, or under the carpet?

Yeah those would look sharp. My interior LEDs are all already red and the entire car is red/black.

Guess we'll never be able to attend meets together, I'm doing practically the same thing, just at a slower pace. :icon17:

I want to get my interior LED's to red, but again, no one to do it. :(

I don't think I need the endlinks for now. Haven't really seen much about endlinks failing. Might be something I could do further down the road though.

dmhenderson 12-17-2012 02:51 PM

Let me dig. I swapped all of my interior lighting (trunk and dome lights) for red LED pods and they look great with the nismo interior.

Vendor on these forums sold me the pods.

I just had mine done at the same time since they already had them there and had the car on the lift. Might as well..

Oh I have the LED's, I thought you meant like the gauges and such, from that shitty orange to Red. I have the LED dome lights, and a brighter white in the trunk.

dmhenderson 12-17-2012 02:54 PM

Yeah all of my gauges still glow orange. I didn't change that stuff.

dmhenderson 12-17-2012 02:55 PM

I actually have a red LED for the license plate but I don't drive around with it because I don't want to be pulled over.

That's the stuff I'd like to change... Orange to Red. I think it would look sick. Red numbers with white needles, or white hashes and red needle.

Agreed, just left that white. What I really need to get swapped is the turn signal orange bulbs to white. :shakes head:

dmhenderson 12-17-2012 07:21 PM

Yep I have chrome blinker bulbs too.

Yes the kickplates are prewired and plug in on the passenger side. I believe this is to tap it into the body control module so they go out when the door is closed.
Changing the Leds is the easy part. Getting the kickplates apart to do it looks like the hard part. Instead of removing each LED I'm going to look at some strip tape I have and see if it fits. This can be cut every 3 leds so the piece will only be a few inches long.

I have no car plans right now, having a new mortgage kinda curbed the whole spending money on the car thing. Oh wait I do have plans, taking the car in to get the tpms for the winter setup configured...exciting!

If I had money to spend on the car I'd be thinking about sway bars and coilovers. I need to figure out how to fix the curb in my driveway so I don't scrape as much and I need to get a normal daily driver first though. I'm sure something else will come up that I will have to throw money at before I can get to any of this though....
