Yes the kickplates are prewired and plug in on the passenger side. I believe this is to tap it into the body control module so they go out when the door is closed.
Changing the Leds is the easy part. Getting the kickplates apart to do it looks like the hard part. Instead of removing each LED I'm going to look at some strip tape I have and see if it fits. This can be cut every 3 leds so the piece will only be a few inches long.

How much does he charge?

I have no car plans right now, having a new mortgage kinda curbed the whole spending money on the car thing. Oh wait I do have plans, taking the car in to get the tpms for the winter setup configured...exciting!

If I had money to spend on the car I'd be thinking about sway bars and coilovers. I need to figure out how to fix the curb in my driveway so I don't scrape as much and I need to get a normal daily driver first though. I'm sure something else will come up that I will have to throw money at before I can get to any of this though....

Yeah I just saw your for sale post and figured it out. Do you have a specific kit in mind? are you AT or MT? I'm a little jealous :icon17:

haha word.
Im 6MT
and no kits for me sir! Im tired of seeing the same setup on every FI car. We as a community need idiots like me who want to DIY everything haha. Im starting off my build with a Holset HC1(same turbo from a Cummins Diesel) and im running E85 fuel. Once that gets old it will be time for a Twin turbo setup using EFR 6258s  Anyways everything from the turbo manifolds to the down pipe and exhaust to the intercooler piping will all be made in house haha I really am hoping that this will inspire others to pioneer and branch out on the VQ37 platform.

How ambitious of you. I hope this proves to be a worthy venture for you.

THanks dude. Support from the forums is always a good feeling. I am hoping that my business partner and I will get some exposure here to where a few local members will see these builds and then want us to build them a similar setup. Starting off a performance shop is tough. Were still practically kids though so its really new ground for the two of us.

True that. I consider haters as fans. Just fans that are jealous haha. You need to post a vid of your new exhaust setup bud.

eastwest2300 01-03-2013 10:14 AM

Brother as soon as I can get everything back to normal, I will. I promise. I really wanna show the "haters" that my parts ARE installed, thats what I REALLY wanna do.
