Someone explain silly looking camber to me

Serious question: Why do people do this? Does it actually serve some sort of purpose outside of ripping your tires to pieces very quickly? More importantly, are they aware how silly it looks? Seriously, it looks like a matchbox car that some fat kid sat on.

HONESTLY, I have NO god damn idea, I know it is part of a STUPID thing called hellaflush, and these morons, (yes, even if you have a 370Z and you do this, you're a moron) do this to be part of a "crew" or something...... The goal is to see how much camber you can put in your ride...

^^^ I agree, I have seen a lot of these pictures...
I also don't understand the concept of "YEAHHH, I got 13" wide wheels on this bitch!", yet my tire width is 265 stretched with 7 degrees camber |

Also doesn't "flush" imply that the wheels should be perpendicular/aligned with the body and not BENT AT A CRAZY 45 DEGREE ANGLE

Yeah that whole "poke" thing was, and perhaps still is, a big thing in the VW scene. Or even better, putting on 265 tires in the back, and 225's in the front, on a FWD car.

The High Maintenance guys all do this (or a lot of them do) and you would have to beat me to death with a socket wrench before I let you do that to my car.
