Honestly, 90% of the traffic on the road is there to sightsee.

You've got maybe a couple hours a day on the weekends where it opens up enough to really get on it. So, as long as you aren't out there early in the am, chances are you'll be doing 15mph behind a couple of Harley's.

You may still have a whiny passenger complaining you are still going too fast though.

Not true at all. And even if you were getting tailgated, there are places to pull over on the dragon to let others pass.

Chris, I assure you that you would do just fine. Its not necessarily about the speed, its about the combination of turns and weird elevation changes that make it challenging but fun. Yes, there be barnstormers who push it and there be others who don't. There is plenty of room for everyone. Unless its 12:00PM on a Saturday, then its just another line of traffic!
