I called Fontana Village to verify my reservation that I made when I checked out last year, and lo and behold, it was confirmed. When I asked if there were any rooms available with a king bed, they said that there were some available on the ground level. These are the rooms that you can walk through the patio doors right to your car. So, anyone still interested in staying in the Lodge, there are still some rooms available.

Hope to see everyone there (well, not everyone

Preferably not that close to a drop off next time though.

Absolutely

If you're leaving the same day, you can join our caravan down
any day during that week, we can usually be found around cabin 660
You can get radios and tune to the channel we use, since cell reception and interwebs is spotty

I'm probably leaving wed after work to get there super early Thursday. I have a cabin as well not sure which one yet though. I know it's a hickory 2 bedroom. I already have a set of radios ready to go

Same cruises as last year Dai. Hopefully keeping the groups around the same size as last time so they are easily manageable.
