Yeah, the ballast are made to last and withstand hot or cold but if its taking in water it can still fail.

This is true, I had HIDs in my Eclipse, and I constantly washed the engine bay, and never had an issue.. although every manufacture that makes ballasts have their own ways of making them, which makes them more or less likely to take on water by the way their designed.

If my cousin has time today, I'm gonna try to take out the headlight and try to dry it out. Hoping it will work again after that.

If you can, before you reseal it, try to test it, to make sure the light works.

Finished working on the headlight and also got my intake filters cleaned and my oil cooler block off plate installed.

Good news: Got all the water out of the headlight. There was A LOT of water in there and much more than I expected. Made it really easy to find where the leak in the seal was. Just let the water drain out of there and then put the headlight in front of a portable heater to dry it out completely. Used some silicon sealant to fill the leak in the seal. If this works then I don't have to worry about resealing the light again.

Bad news: The headlight bulb pretty much burnt out. I'm pretty sure I just need to replace the bulb to get the light working again.

Mark, the bulbs on your old lights still worked right? If so, would you mind giving one to Henry for me along with the lens?

My bulbs aren't in very good shape but they work. You can have one if you want. Check your PMs though - probably won't be tomorrow. Learned some fun stuff about headlight painting yesterday and today.

So my headlight mysteriously started working again today. I think I'll take the bulb from you just in case mine craps out again. Dee, headlight bulbs are expensive bro
