So im guessing to get this piece out, I will have to completely disassemble the headlight, no way around it.

yes unfortunately! after disassemble you'll need to unscrew both adjustment bolt and a clip to remove the projector. shouldn't be hard though.

Well if you want to do it the super safe but annoying way, get a heat gun (or borrow mine). Takes forever but you won't melt your headlight.

Although I will never recommend anybody using heat gun to open headlight housing but whatever works for you guys! Just because the oven method always works for me doesn't mean it'll work for others.
