Yeah I've looked at ground clearance with those "18 resonators on the exhaust and I'm better off not dropping the car. Even those scrape plates you mentioned are not guaranteed protection from an impact.

I doubt the nismo set up in this regard is different. Spacers w/ stud replacement is easy. I just followed this DIY DIY: ** Rear 20mm stud replacement spacers

if you're comfortable peeling apart your headlights (which I am not) this install should be a cake walk imo.

you've gotta learn to avoid the potholes and speedbumps! or just be very careful. You can scrape ALOT before your resonator actually cracks, but if you're not careful all it takes is one heavy impact and you've got a problem

Talk to birdmanx1, he has a Nismo dropped on swifts with the same exhaust. I don't think he really has that many issues with scraping.

Yup no issues at all, you just need to be careful not taking huge speedbumps. You'll actually scrape the bottom part of the front bumper more than anything else.

Hate when that happens! Luckily I have no visible damage....so far.

Update on my headlight blemish: Have an appointment with Kevin at D&V Saturday, 10/6 to buff it out. Will post pictures afterwards.

Are you sure that's damage? It looks like you just got really really excited about how nice the lights turned out.

Silver Lining:
Put the allweather cover on the car last night and decided to perform the condensation "acid test" and left it out in the rain.

No condensation at all this morning.
