I'm not - E/W said it wasn't ideal but if he can make it work, we'll do sat. After looking at some comparison pictures, I think I'm going to just black out everything including the clear part at the bottom so long as that doesn't block my turn signal.

the light right under the boomerang is that the turn signal light or just parking/city lights?
I noticed these lights weren't very amber. Are the bulbs clear? If you switch them over to amber bulbs it will give more of an amber look to that part of the housing in case you decide to remove the amber boomerang or paint it just a suggestion. I've always hated the look up just clear bulb turn signals, it gives that weak halogen look, amber bulbs ftw

Yeah the girlfriend and I are testing bulbs once the car gets back from the dealership on Wed. The outcome will dictate what direction I go. Boomerangs are getting painted for sure. If the clear piece doesn't house the turn signal blinkers, it's gone too.

We'll take pictures. She was the voice of reason who said "well before you go spraypainting **** again, let's take a look at what you're blocking out"
I keep her around/she keeps me around for a reason. She absolutely does not understand my car mod disease but supports it despite the fact that she still doesn't have a ring.

She also does not like racecars and does the slow 'doorhandle grab' thing every time I drop the hammer with her in the car. Things came to a head about a week ago coming back from National Harbor and we hit 130 racing a STI down 495 and she screams "ONLY IDIOTS RACE OTHER IDIOTS WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU" and started punching me in the shoulder, at which point I glance over at the WRX and his girlfriend is actively hitting him in the head so we both backed off.
Good news is that without the women, we'd probably be dead.

My nemesis is a guy who owns a metallic blue ZR1 with the license plate that reads "my PRIUS" and i see him all over the place.
We've nearly killed each other several times and I shake my fist at him every time we get a little crazy. He's had that car for at least 4 years. Racing him in my '09 (and losing badly) we nearly got annihilated running the lefthand lane at 100+ because a tow truck inexplicably decided to pull crosswise into the middle of the fast lane and just sit there. He ran into the dirt and spun and I jinked sideways nearly clipping another car and sat in the 2nd lane. He is my car nemesis

He has a harness that hooks into the passenger-side seatbelt so that force is distributed evenly over his body rather than yanking at his neck (weenie dogs have back issues). I have set just long enough so he can hang his head out the window but short enough that he can't hit the dash on a sudden stop.
