Im bringing a 10mm to take off bumpers, alcohol wipes, blue krylon. I will also throw in for lunch. Also since it gets dark around 7 and I have a 3 hour drive home I would like to be able to leave around 5ish if time permits.

I thought MKG wasn't doing his headlights this Saturday? I'm gonna go pick up the paint/clear for my wheels after work today.

I wasnt going to because a sh1t ton of people were going but now that there is like 4 people max and we will have time Im going to.

ohh brother, its too late now, we (me & DM) bought ours on eBay.. sh1t, im not sure where you could go to get it...

I would go to a place that specializes in tubs, showers, etc.. start there. I would try to get it today if you could.

Or find the best silicon sealant you can buy..

I think it's just EW, DM, and MKG doing the headlights. I'll be there working on my wheels and helping you guys out if you need it.

I wouldn't count on leaving by 5 pm. I'm like 85% sure it will take longer than that. The average time I saw in the DIY for this mod was between 8-12 hrs.

MKG if you can't find the sealant, don't worry about it. IT IS NOT NEEEDED to do this mod. It's more of an extra layer of security to make sure the headlights are sealed properly. You can re-use the factory sealant and many on this forum have done that successfully. If you do see condensation in there afterwards, you will have to take the lenses apart again, add the new sealant, and then reseal.

If you wanna use rubber butyl, we might have some left over.. between me and DM.

Thanks for the info dude. Im pretty sure if I am just super careful when resealing I should be okay. My buddy here on the forum has done his 3 times this year and I think he has reused the sealant.lol I think 8 hours should be enough really. Im not going to stop working. Hopefully with the instruction and guidence from Khoi we will be in good shape :tup:

We will see how things go. If it comes to that I will certainly pay up.
