Completely agree! He powdercoated my strut bar to match my wheels, perfect match on a really complicated color I'd think!

He also did my calipers, but since you're already highlighting that, I don't wanna steal your thunder OP. :tiphat:

Damn dude, that does look good. I heard he does great work!

Mike 08-29-2012 08:36 PM

thanks guys! I do take a little pride in my work!!!!!! The biggest reason I don't put out shoddy stuff, is I couldn't stand it if a customer was at a car show and someone asked who did the work, then pointed out a flaw in it. I only have my name, and I like to keep it untarnished.

dmhenderson 08-29-2012 08:38 PM

I trust you. They're gorgeous.

$330 shipped for all 4. No joke. Local shop quoted me 4x that amount.

I bet you the majority of that cost was in the materials, I know how the painting process works, and the sh1t isnt cheap.

XwChriswX 08-29-2012 08:58 PM

Since I'm not sure if Mike wants his prices discussed openly, all I will say is his prices and turnaround time are EXCELLENT. I dropped off a sway bar, then had one back on in 3 days FTW.

Mike 08-29-2012 09:17 PM

I try to be consistent in my pricing. Calipers are my main thing, prices may vary on other stuff that I do rarely.

Its 350 for sport, 300 for base calipers, 30 flat rate shipping and a 50 discount for premium and elite members. I've gotten about 10 people to upgrade to premium here. :)

Not to mention just about any and every color/label combination you can think of.

No sh1t? wow... thats whats up man!

GaleForce 08-29-2012 09:43 PM

Too bad shipping would be a killer for me. Powder coating the strut bar would be sweet.

shadoquad 08-29-2012 10:08 PM

Mike is one of the best sponsors on our forums, his work is terrific, and he's a heck of a nice guy to hang out with.

:D

Canada is 64. whatever customs hits you with is a different story though.

MyKindaGuise 08-29-2012 10:20 PM

Mike I have a PM for a PC'ing some Calipers coming your way in the near future. Probably while my car is being gutted this fall. Do you remember the calipers you did for w0ady here on the forum? If not I have pictures of the color I need.

TreeSemdyZee 08-29-2012 11:19 PM

Mike is definitely the man. Even though I didn't think far enough ahead to have my wheels shipped to him (from Z1) for powder coating, he helped me out with valuable knowledge. I had a bad powder coat job locally ($100 per wheel plus $190 for powder for reference) and because of his help, was able to get my wheels fixed after a bad PC job.

It's true. I'm one of them. You'd be doing my wheels next if you weren't in Georgia.

With a lift, should be easy. Chop chop, though.

I've been out of town for a few days so I let him hang out with me at my buddy's shop while I did the brakes.
