Fredericksburg Area Z group

Wanted to see if I could start something out of Fredericksburg area? Kinda of between Richmand and NOVA? I've been thinking of something like
Cars & Cigars. I like the coffee thing, but wanted to try something a little different; combining my 2 favorite things: a good cigar and cool cars! If this is something that maybe others would be interested in, I could set up the first meet? Being new to this group, I was just thinking how there are a few Z's I've seen around my area and we often stop and chat but there isn't really anything in/around the Fredericksburg area that I'm aware of. I don't mind heading out to meet up, but hitting up NOVA area sometimes requires that 4 hour traffic drive home; which sucks after doing it all week. So? What do you say?

I'm in Stafford but between MAZOC and ZCAR (Richmond) I stay pretty busy. I haven't seen to many people from the Fredericksburg/Stafford area active on here.

No Hampton for me this weekend. I have a gutted bathroom I need to get back to work on. With ZdayZ coming up, I have to stay put this weekend.

I'd like to help you out with a Fredericksburg meet, but between the other two groups I am just killed for time. I definitely would try to show up though, as long as it didn't happen on a weekend when MAZOC was meeting up in Fairfax or another event was going on. Thanks.

Sounds good to me. I'm trying to decide if I should go to ZdayZ this year or not. I just bought my first Z ever. 2012. Stock as can be. I'd love to hit the Dragon with it, but not sure what to expect from it all. What has been your experience for ZDayZ? Kind of what goes on.

Great time, great people, great roads. It really is a blast, something you definitely need to try and do.

Today is the last day to pre-register for ZDayZ. Also, good chance all of the lodging at Fontana Village is booked full, so you might have to get a place a ways away.

Dont have to have a stogie, but could hang out. My wife is full on cajun so we might make a big pot of Sausage Gumbo or something....Good way to get to know some of the other members etc....Seems like interest is growing....

Members of ZCAR of Richmond will be at the Show including Tony (Smurf) from NoVA.

Then a week and 1/2 to prepare for ZdayZ.

If you guys put something together that doesn't interfere with the MAZOC schedule I would probably be interested in coming down to F-burg if I can. I like cigars but am typically a special occasion smoker. Every now and then I'll go through a phase where I have one or two a week, but it's generally once a month or even less frequently than that.

Agreed. Yeah, I don't smoke them every day, about once a week or month. I was thinking maybe a monthly meeting that didn't take away from the MAZOC or NOVA events.... Start small and see what happens?
