There's a lot of mulling around, playing with maps on a computer, some runs on a dyno...over the course a few hours. Not missing **** if you head to the nearest Starbucks and wait. Lol

Painted my headlights and installed halo eyes this weekend. I am probably going to purchase the FI CBE w/18" resonator or Stillen CBE in a few weeks. I am debating on the Stillen sway bars now or buying the Stillen CAI and selling the CAI later once I get the Stillen supercharger.
BTW, Nissan of Chesapeake, is the best Nissan dealership I've been to as far as customer service. I had a key cut and program (I bought a spare uncut FOB on ebay) for $99 compared to $129 at other dealerships. Also, they can order Stillen products and install it. $800 for the supercharger and CBE install is not a bad deal. I started on my backup cam but I'm not finish running the wires yet. I got to finish my research paper and start on my capstone project next week I found the secret menu... |

There's no average. It is highly dependent on the shop, s/c, t/c or n/a, level of tune (are you going for 300whp or 900whp). It all plays a part in how long they spend on the tune. Typical packages are for four hours and will run you $500-800 easy. Some tuners can do it in half that time. Depends on their experience with your car and the software/flash program. For a solid s/c tune, $500 is a good starting bet.

Moore Automotive is $350 but you have to pay extra to get the uprev license. I'm assuming I'll pay around $600. Quote:
