To elaborate on what John is talking about; first off, I'm not having a negative effect on the SRM with my RJM pedal. The SRM on my car just acts a little different. The more you get used to the RJM pedal you'll notice that you don't need to push the clutch pedal all the way in to fully disengage the clutch due to the improve feel of the RJM pedal over the OEM pedal. For me I push in my clutch pedal about 1/2 (ruff estimate) of the way during shifting. The only time I push my pedal all the way in is on start up. Since I don't push it all the way in, I never activate the clutch pedal sensor when shifting. This causes the SRM not to "pre-rev" during shifting. What I mean by "pre-rev" is when you down shift from 3/4 to 1/2 the SRM revs up for a 2nd gear match while in left neutral position. You'll activate the "pre-rev" when you wiggle the shifter in the neutral position with the clutch pedal all the way in while rolling to a stop at a light. The good thing is the SRM doesn't need to "pre-rev" to operate correctly. As soon as the shifter starts to moves into a gear it rev matches. SRM is still faster than my shifting (I’m not a slow shifter) so I'm not experiencing any negative effects from not activating the clutch pedal sensor while shifting. It is just interesting observation.
