I would be very surprised if another 370Z was running the same rims as me in our area. I'm running Volk Racing G2 Type 2s. They look like TE37s but there are differences like the VR stamp into one of the spokes like standard G2s. The Type 2s are rare and they cost more too. I don't think they make them anymore. Got mine used from another forum user. In the VIR pic I had the center caps removed.

You're probably right. I have the standard G2's. I really wish I got the rears with a little lip on it. Ah well.. Looks like a reason to get new wheels.

What are thinking of replacing your G2s with?

I'm toying with idea of getting a second set of Volks for the track.
18x10s on all four corners due to better rubber choices and being able to rotate the tires.
Considering the TE37SL Black Edition and TE37RT because of the available offsets.

I'm not sure. I like black wheels a lot.. but I'm thinking I might do something for the wheels to stand out. Not sure what though. IF I do end up getting wheels, I'll come up with something.

I'll slap you if you get my forgestar bronze burst wheels. Seriously. One badass backhand.

I'm not sure what that is. The only wheels you've mentioned were matte gunmetal. And I thought they were Enkei's or something like that.

I'll hit him up and see if he ever posted them. I gave up on the video, it didn't come out that great.

Also let me know which events you are going to.
I'm trying to go to at least 2 HPDE events while I'm home.
Do you know which events? I'm going to try and go to most of the NASA events next year. I know they do one in February at VIR usually. Might try for that if I don't have to work.

I have a set of RPF1's that I use for track/autocross. 18x9.5/10.5 +15. I'm using hankook RS-3's 265/35/18 and 285/40/18 for now until I can find a way to transport my wheels to the track without bolting them onto the car. Once I figure that out I'll probably be upgrading to hoosier A6 or R6.

Not yet. Waiting until I know when I'll be coming back. How ever I will say this, I will not be going to any NASA sponsored events. All of my track buddies have warned me not even think about NASA. They said their safety is a joke and you are just a $ to them. When I have an idea of which events I'm considering I'll let you know.

If and when I do get a set of rims for track use, initially my track rims will bum a ride on my friend’s trailer. Looking into eventually getting a small trailer for the track that my Z could pull. It would be handy for other things too. I don't have the room for a SUV/Truck and full sized trailer. Tire wise I would get Yokohama Advan AD048 for starters. They're street legal so I could drive on them to an event if needed.
