if they both suck, gonna mod the living hell out of the Z and keep her. In that case, Kai, you'll be hired.

anyone else here intend on getting the new Z? Just curious. November 22/23 can't come soon enough!
From what I read the new Z is either a 4 cylinder turbo or a "detuned" version of the VQ we're running now. The only difference there may be is style. The Supra I know nothing about, but guaranteed it'll be over priced.

A lot people think that working for the Federal Government is a walk in the park.

Well, IS NOT...and it all depends on your Job Series & requirements for the pay grade, Branch of Service you are working for and your Chain of Command (Yes, civilian also have one) plus you also get quarterly evaluations.

Damn it seems like your plans jump around a lot. But I am interested in seeing the new supra. Why don't you just get the new corvette?

Yeah that's all old rumored crap. The unveiling is always less than what we want and for a price no one agrees with. I'm not holding my breath. But IF it turns out to be a player, then yeah, I'm putting my deposit down. And no, I don't like the R35. I was going to wait for the R36 but it almost seems like they're going to milk this one for all it's worth. I don't see a new model before 2017. And I'm not waiting. Nissan is making a bad habit of running these way too long without a refresh. It shows me that they lack in any motivation to design/redesign a sports car that is a decent price for the average Joe.

You either pay $100k+ for a GTR, or you get a Z or an Altima. Pretty crappy imo. No wonder the FRS is kicking *** even with such little power out the door. The supercharger option is $5k. And voila! Fast car. Nissan needs to get their heads into the game. This one-size-fits-all sports car concept is overplayed. Also, they went from an $80k production car to over $100k with not more than a 55hp total increase throughout the years. Kinda ********. $20k. 55hp. Hmmmmm... Well! It ain't my ******* problem. I didn't waste my money on one.

I think what happened there is that Nissan stopped building the "base" model GT-R. I remember when the GT-R first came out there was 2 different models. The GT-R and GT-R "Premium". I can't remember the differences but I think it was about a $10k-15k difference in price (depending on options). If you build a 2014 GT-R on Nissan's website the only non-special version/edition is the "Premium". I guess the base model GT-R wasn't selling so they ditched it.

It would be like Nissan getting rid of the base model and non-sport package touring Zs.

Any way...if I had the money I would get a Track Edition GT-R.
Nissan/NISMO brought a preproduction Track Edition GT-R in Gun Metallic to this past ZDayZ.
I have driven a GT-R and IMO it is worth the price.

All well and good. But it has still become a little long in the tooth, much like the 370. Five years. That's it. Move on. And I still can't see how they can justify the price. It's almost like their lap times are the only things selling those cars and that's how they justify the price. I think this is the only point where we get to agree to disagree. I think it is a $65-70k car at best. But again, that's just my opinion.

Well then you may be confused about what you're looking at. You're talking about a car that puts SUPER cars to shame. A car that FORCED big name car companies to produce a car that can beat it. And they did..for 4-5 times the amount of a GTR.. Sure those super cars have plenty luxurious interiors...but I'm almost positive nobody buys a lambo for the interior. So...yeah, you might be confused. Not that I'm a fan of the GTR. I think it's ugly as hell. But as far as performance? It's worth the money you're paying hands down.

I agree. It is definitely time for the R36 and Z35 to be released.

So I'm honestly upset with how most of these pictures turned out but I figured I'd at least share them:

The pics themselves aren't bad. I'd say we could have used a scenery change. LOL
