PTUNING: Introduction as a Vendor (Beware lots of pictures)

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company PTUNING as an official vendor on this forum.

A little bit about our company:
We've been in the performance parts business since 1998. In 2004, we decided to expand into the servicing, installation, and dyno tuning aspect of the performance parts industry. After 2 years of permits, design, and construction, we finally completed the construction of what we believe is a one-of-a-kind tuner-shop facility in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

In 2007, we started to campaign in the Redline Time Attack series with an in-house built, fully-caged turbo Scion tC putting down 550+ whp on our dyno dynamics dyno running just on 93 octane + WM injection. In 2008 and 2009, our efforts paid off with two consecutive RTA Modified FWD Championship, but the win did not come easy, we destroyed 3 motors and 7 transmissions in the process.

We also build and market our own bolt-on turbo systems for the Honda s2000, Evo 8/9/X, Genesis Coupe 2.0T, and Scion tC1, tC2, xA, xB. We are looking to expand our turbo kit product line to include the 370Z, and G37 market in the near future.

Our facility offers the following services:

-4-wheel 3D imaging alignment with inground-lift to accomodate lowered vehicles. If you're looking to get your alignment back to oem-spec, or if you're looking for a custom-alignment for autox or roadracing, we have the equipment and know-how to make it happen.

-Touch-less robotic tire mounting and tire balancing with sonar radial runout. If you just bought a set of expensive volk wheels and you don't want to risk getting it scratch by taking it to your local garage, we have the proper equipment to mount and balance wheels/tires without leaving a single scratch. Our tire changer is also the official tire changer for all Ferrari dealerships.

-Custom Dynocell-enclosed AWD dyno tuning. We spared no expense to have Dyno Dynamics build us a 2400WHP Steady State, quad-retarder AWD loading- dynanometer. This dyno is a a one of a kind setup in North America. In addition to the dyno, we had a custom sound-abatement dynocell built to our spec. The dynocell is equip with two 500lbs radial exhaust fans, generating over 65,000cfm of air flow. The fans not only extract heat and exhaust from the vehicle on the dyno, but it also constantly draws fresh air from the outside into the dynocell. This means that your car will be in the same state of tune when it leaves our facility as it did on our dyno.

-Full servicing and installation of all aftermarket performance products. We specialize in turbo and supercharger installation and tuning as well as suspension upgrades and alignment.

-Custom fabrication including TIG & MIG welding
-Corner balancing
-Scheduled maintenance, 30K, 60K, etc.
-and much more...

In addtion, we are currently an official UpRev Pro Tuner and Dealer located in Northern Virginia with our own in-house EFI University Advanced-Certification Tuner. We are also an authorized Toyo Tires UHP Dealer and Installer.

And, of course, we're also a fully-stocked warehouse distributor for most of the brands we carry. Our facility is located in the heart of Old Town Manassas, VA about 1/2 hour outside of DC at:

Any chance you might become a GTM installer?

Would be great if we had a GTM certified installer here in the area for those of us that want their FI products, but don't have a garage to work in to do our on work and get a custom tune once its put on.

I'll be needing a mount/balance for some Michelin PSS 245 40R-19 tires here in a few weeks... and a 4 wheel alignment :hello:

Very, very nice shop..... looks like tons of inventory which is a rarity for some speed/tuning shops. Would be nice to have a place like this locally.

Nice to see another vendor sponsor on here, welcome.

Installing a FI setup like the GTM systems should not be a problem. We actually develop and design our own turbo system for other vehicles and understand what it takes to build and install a forced induction setup on an NA car. Cars with tight engine bay like the Z just takes more time to install vs a vehicle with an inline motor. Sometimes it's easier just to drop the whole motor and tranny as one assembly to install the manifold and turbo on cars with V6 and V8 configurations than to do it with the motor in-place.

I got my tires mounted and 4 wheel alignment done by P-Tuning and they did a great job. The shop is super clean, they have sick cars regularly stopping by (while I was there a nice Supra stopped by) and the customer service is A+. Highly recommended.

On a personal note, I'm excited to see them branching into the Nissan world. I don't own a Z but maybe this means you can help the Maxima owners too some day. :)
