Not sure if you guys make it to these, but me and my son have gone with the Nico folks for the last couple of years. Its a weekend long party and carshow. They also have a small track they hold the AutoX and Drift compititions. To take your car on the track its $10 I belive and bring your own helmet. For the $10 you get A pit/track pass and can do unlimited laps on the track. All weekend long if you like. Some of the nuts missed the whole show lol.

Here are some pics and vids from last year...you may even see a vid of my first laps on the track....
Carlisle 2011 Discussion and Picture Page : Altima Coupe
Sorry you dont see much of the rest of the show. Most of us spent alot of time on or near the track even though there was a HUGE carshow with a dozen compititions. There is something for everyone

Here is Carlisles site
Carlisle Performance and Style - Hottest, Loudest, Fastest, Most Tricked-out Cars, Trucks, SUVs on the East Coast

I have met some really great people on this forum and and thougt this might be right up your alley I think it would be cool to have a the350z.com showing

If any are interested I may be able to get you discounded rooms for the weekend as well. As long as you dont mind being at the party hotel/lodge next to the nightclub/bar

I haven't been to Carlisle for a show in probably 12 years... it was a great show back then. I'll have to see what my schedule is like.

Just got back from Carlilse! I won 2nd place in Nissan/Other!!!!!

1st place was a real Nissan GT-R with a carbon fiber body, fully custom insides, rims and some performance mods. I still think they should have there own class. My 20k car Vs. a 90k car w/ 20k+ in mods?

Anyways its was a great time, had fun on the track (Only mowed down the cones once ) and got to see some awesome cars(something like 7000-8000 cars filled all the fields) Also 4 of the guys from our Nissan club got invited to show there cars inside the buildings

Ill post a vid and some pics when I dig through the bags for my camera.

Woah woah woah...there were other members at Carlisle? Myself and 2 others were there all weekend. We barely saw any 370s...hope you guys enjoy the pi s (:

All in all the show was okay...about 40-50% were crap cars and not classy. I didnt like paying $50 to go see a Honda with a coffee can on it.lol there were some sexxxyy Genesis coupes and wrx sti's.

Neat ghost flames on a buddys Z

Some Nico drifters

A nice shot of some of our group. About 60 cars from our Nico club showed up for the show with all manner of Nissans and Infinitys. Some have other cars now like Mustangs, Subarus and whatnot but we still love them

Me

Close to touching on the front but I dont think I ever actualy rubbed the pavement with my bumper. Look at my front tire. I pumped them up to 48psi (says 50psi max) to fight the tire roll, but still, with such a small side wall..... I think next year I will use my stock rims/tires that are half the weight and more tire.

Sweet G that rolled with us.

Daryl got 3rd place last year.

All of these guys in this row were with us The greenish one is actualy blue/green Color Change Vinyl. It may be the 1st car in the USA with color change vinyl. It looks bluer in the group pick above. It seems to work just like the paint. It really comes out in the sun.

Cant fit the whole place in one shot but you get the idea.

And here is a video of me going around the track:

I'm very jealous...we didn't even realize you guys were there...we walked over to that track and were like holy Nissan's. Lol we would've loved to join you guys. That hemi G was gorgeous. I also didn't realize how many of those cars in the bays belonged to your group that's awesome. If any of you and your group are local I know me and the SE PA Z's would love to cruise. We are trying to organize a cruise for next weekend as there is another show with a rumored large Z group visiting.

Next week is Import & Kit Nationals at Carlisle. I have some buddy going and some of the nico guys are heading to that one too. There will be a ton of imports but its not the same. The guys who run the autocross for that, use it for a tiny compitition, $25 enrty fee and you only get 3 laps.

We run the track every year for the Performance & Style show. We only charge $10 and you get 2 laps at a time, as many times as you want, all weekend long. And if you dont have a car (Your guest or girl) you can ride along with one of the moderators or more experienced drivers for the thrill. My son loves it. We alternated in 2 hour blocks this year: 2 hours of drift, then 2 hours of Autocross then repeat. Since 3/4 of us love to drive fast we end up spending most of the show over there.

As for upcoming things for them are:
Powercruise - July 13-15, 2012, Brainerd, MN
The Dragon - August 31-September 2, 2012, Fontana Dam, NC
NOPI Nationals - September 22-23, 2012, Commerce, GA

The Powercruise is neat because is $60 and you get alot of things to do on different tracks. They run the Powercruise every 2 hours, and do Dyno Shootout, Power Skids, Drifting, Off-Street Racing, and the Burnout Competition continually.

And not sure if you know about the Dragon but 318 turns in 11 miles should tell you everything:

Well dip me in sh** and call me desert. We did venture up to the track at one point on Saturday, toyed with the idea of moving our cars up that way, but for some reason decided not to. We did meet and talk to the guy with the blue ghost flames, and also the Hemi-G girl, that was cool. Next time we will have to go where the action is, rather than just sit-n-show.

Thats so graphicly funny and I am stealing it!

Here is a neat pic someone got when the guys were doing 3 car tandems. It was the first time for the 3rd driver in the back. How cool that must have been. I did't get time to ride in with one of the guys drifting, but I will make time next year!

I love The Dragon. I was there a couple years back, but in the wife's Accord. Planning to go back soon with The Z, maybe Aug 31 weekend will be a good time...
