haha, thats funny. My sister bought a VW, and I didnt wanna bash it in front of her face, but I was thinking to myself..nooooooo. I did ask her why she didnt get a Honda.

Yeah I had the 2001 GTI VR6. Great car when it ran but they had quality control issues. Had to get my window regulator replaced twice within 6 months and the check engine light was forever on.

The real gripe I have is the VW dealer network here in the states. They are straight up CROOKS. My airbag light went on so I took it in. Since it is a safety problem it is covered free of charge regardless of mileage/warranty but these guys tried to say I had to pay 800.00 to ship it out to Germany etc. I kindly said FFFFUUUUU and reported them to VW Corporate. Service manager was later fired lol.
