Then I saw this...

Thank you. I enjoy these more indepth forum talks like I said above.

Honestly Most of these stations are "Sheetz" and they have all been rebuilt within the past year so I am not to sure on their practices yet as they are all new. I expect this trend to follow and more gas stations will be being rebuilt with an E85 pump. I use an Android app called "Flex-Fuel" and it lists all stations via google maps.

Ive been puttingtogether this plan over the past few months and really loooking into everything alot and I have a great friend who knows an incredible ammount more than I do who has been able to guide me. I think the most exciting thing with this build is that the HC1 turbos LOVE high pressure airflow so it is going to allow us to utilize really small manifold piping up to the turbo which cuts down on cost, less thick piping also means more room for airflow, and give us more room to work and do crazy piping layouts.

And Im 6MT with synchrorev. And yes Seq GBs are expensive as a mother haha. Like 9.5k for gearbox and transmission. Its been a while since I looked but I beleive thats what it was haha.
Just making sure you knew what you're getting into, is all.

Don't take it the wrong way, but I've known quite a few people who suddenly jump into the car game with tons of money, and are like, "I wanna do EVERYTHING!" - but they don't know what they are getting themselves into. Like, you see it at a car show and feel, "Wow, that's totally cool, I want to do that!" - I can understand that feeling, because I've been there before.

But, if your goal was to make a track beast, I wanted to know, that top mount would cause you trouble down the road more than likely. The heat soak could be problems, and could you imagine if your turbo seals went, or you simply blew a fitting with it there? Helloooooo INFERNO.

I'm never disappointed with peoples plans as long as they have an end goal, and their method for getting there is reasonable. For instance, If your end goal was to simply have a pretty car that did 550WHP? I wouldn't care what you did at all...a "numbers queen" is just that. Just look at every 1000HP Supra on the road now, that never see's anything more than an occasional 50-100 pull on public roads. But if your goal was, "I want to be a race car driver, and this is the build I'm going to use to get there", I'd quickly try to tell you that it's not a reasonable way to approach that.

Your goal is, "I want a fast car that looks good, and occasionally hits the track, but nothing more". Sounds good to me. Just make sure you do your supporting mods, and be prepared for the potential to wreck it is all.

You have any track experience yet? If not, might I recommend joining a good bunch of us at Summit Point on May 18-19? Getting your feet wet with it can't come soon enough. It's harder to learn to drive fast with a fast car, than it is with a slower car.
