then i got a signal - let off the gas... signal got stronger - let off more... then around the big sweeping turn passed the stakeout... down to 5 over - no issues.. :)

Not really. They got their momentum back with that goal line stand. They ran out the clock for the last 2 mins. With another 5 mins on the clock, they could have just drove down the field. The power outage did swing the momentum the other way though.

That momentum came finally came with 8 seconds left on the clock, thank goodness they found their defense the last play of the game.

More like with 1:45 left on the clock.......

This.

They could have made big plays, but they didnt need to.

However, the safety? Friggen brilliant.

I was skeptical, but man, they played it perfectly.

Dude, in the second half, Baltimore found every way possible in trying to lose that game.. Look at SF's offensive output. It was huge, kinda like both teams switched roles in each half.

Agreed. Giving it to the punter was even better.

I know. I'm just saying that Baltimore got their momentum back when they stopped SF at the goal line and got the ball back with 1:45 left. After that they just needed to run out the clock.

im listening to tony kornhieser here at work, and even he said it, if the game were 5 quarters, the 49ers would have won by 2 touchdowns.

Believe me, I was rooting for the Ravens, but I was like, ohh man, these boys are gonna blow this huge lead.

They did, but Baltimore's defense really stepped it up a notch at the end. They were making clutch plays, and Kaepernick was getting pressured (finally, since SF's O-line was dominating Baltimore).

I thought SF had it, right until about 2 minutes were left.

Nah I don't buy it. SF got lucky with the power outage because with the momentum the Ravens had going, it would have only gotten worse for them.

My favorite play of the game though was the bomb to Jacoby Jones. That was just crazy. I thought he should have been the MVP of the game.

I thought we were witnessing the ultimate collapse of a team that was dominating up until the power outage.

Im inclined to agree. It's easy to just call it how it looked, as long as you ignore the very last drive/goal line stand.

I knew Flacco would get MVP - strong, consistant performance. No interceptions...he had a great game.
