Depends on the rubber compound.
The best will get even grippier when hot, and will give plenty of "tire talk" and warning when they are about to give out on you. The worst will practically melt down, get gooey/slippery, and have unpredictable handling characteristics at best. Even a good spirited drive on the road cant quite get up to track-level of tire temps simply because of the rubber build-up on the track, which gives even MORE grip where it's needed.

you are prob right im not a 100% what model they were.. all i know is i didnt like them.. now that was 6 years ago and im sure they are better now.. but like i keep saying this is my personal preference.. i like pirelli and will always run them.. i will not give in or follow the crowd its what i like.. if you dont like them thats fine you dont have to run them.. for me and the way i drive they are what i use... and will always use....
