Dustin tells me the brake dust is ridiculous. He runs XP10's up front in his Z, but I want to start with something less aggressive. Last edited by shadoquad; 04-14-2012 at 01:15 PM. |

The non-sport calipers make swapping pads a royal b*tch compared to the Akebonos. When Kirk's Garage did my swap, I was pretty taken aback. I believe on the non-sports, you actually have to remove the caliper to do it iirc. |

Good 'ole floating caliper. The 5.0 uses those in the rear. Royal PITA to change pads because you have to use a special compressor tool that spins the piston as it compresses so you can fit the new pads.

Oh, I agree about XP8's - they're good enough on the street not to bug me. I more meant running my 10's in the front on the street. Oh, they bite hard, alright....they also get me dirty looks for how loud they squeal...

Anyone have any experience with the Corbeau FX1 line of seats? I am thinking about buying either one or a pair for the 5.0 as a temporary seat until the leather Recaros are available on the aftermarket (and I am willing to dish out $3k for them).
