I've done it before (not to MIR though) and it's really frustrating if you have a bad day. Is rather just use that gas money and time to go AutoX instead.

Capitol Raceway is like 15 mins from me, which is why I prefer to go there. It also costs like half as much as other places, only $20.

Yeah MIR is $35 to race $20 to watch which I think is wayyy to much, but the track at MIR puts Capitol to shame

Yeah Capitol sucks but it's cheap and nearby so I just go there. Also, more of my friends/family are willing to go with me to Capitol than all the way to MIR. If I have a bad day there, it's not that bog of a deal. If I drive over an hour and then have a bad day, I get pissed.

Yeah thats true too, at least you can usually blame the track prep lol

I'm hoping that things are better when they open back up under the new management.

Minor threadjack.....anyone interested in attending the UMD/College Park Tuning meet at the Bowie Baysox stadium on 29 April? The stadium was right down the road from the Nissan of Bowie meet a few weeks ago.
