The S2K has some Hankook all seasons on it which I'm going to leave on until it really starts to warm up, then it's getting some summer rubber. |

They may be fun to drive, but ive never liked the looks of it. Im not 'hating' on them, I just don't like them. Personal preference.

I'm planning on having the car out at the meet next weekend. The only thing that I need to do soon is fix the steering wheel; the top part has worn through in a place (don't worry -- this was deducted from the purchase price!) so it needs to be reupholstered or replaced. Thankfully I can buy a used wheel in good condition for $75. With the old wheel I am going to cut the bottom and weld in a flat bar, so it's one of those flat-bottomed D shaped steering wheels. I'll probably have it upholstered in alcantara or something. But that will probably be a $300-500 project so it can wait. |

More Miatas are raced on actual circuits in this country than any other sports car. While much of that is due to cost, the fact remains. Bang/buck sports car par excellance. But sure, opinions are opinions. I don't mind. |

I was thinking about sending it off to CF Element after seeing some of the stuff they have done with the Z wheels. :yum: |

I don't think we're going to mod it. At least not mechanically. There is a front lip and carbon fiber splitter that my gf wants to get for it, but I think that might be about it save for fixing up the steering wheel. At least that's the plan... I can't afford to mod three cars at once. :bowrofl: |

For a car its size the S has gobs of cargo space. The trunk is seriously 2-3x times bigger than the one on the Z roadster!

If my wife wants anything, she knows she wont get it from my broke a$$, so she just gets everything herself.... (as I wrote this, Im hoping Jay's eyes dont see this post and turn my words around, as he likes to do so much, cause I opened myself up for this one) |

Could get something All Seasonal tires as Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus or something else less. Yokohama Sport is great tires but threadwear is too low. |
