So I love Gordon Biersch, but Old Stein Inn has absolutely amazing food and beer too, and I think once it gets warm enough out it'd be an amazing get-together place. They have a beer garden out back where live music plays sometimes, and its super awesome.

Added a poll for being sooner or later. Old Stein is VERY busy now, ever since they re-opened since the fire that gutted it. I went there on a Friday or Saturday night once, and it was a 2-hour wait w/o call-ahead seating. The best night to go would likely be a Sunday night, or a weekday. Sunday however, they close at 9PM...

Sunday... ewww. Saturday would be best. We'd need to reserve in advance.

Assuming they do reservations. I know I did call-ahead seating the other day and we got in just fine on the Sunday night before MLK day. But, thats also Sunday night...

Maybe you can do it for Saturday too. Judging by the poll, Im already thinking of having an early get-together for maybe a smaller group who wants to go ASAP, and then when they come back raving about the amazing deliciousness, we can have another when it gets warmer :-p

Sunday just sucks for doing anything. Saturday is always best.

Im in to do this as well, depending on the date and time. I'd prefer a day during the week, but the consensus is leaning towards a Saturday.

Early Feb... maybe sooner as the customer has fallen down on some requirements on their side so I will probably have to come back mid feb.
