Selling my 6M for an automatic.

Anyone know any good deals out there for an automatic Z?

I just listed my 370 in the classifieds since I'll be driving and sitting in alot of traffic. Trying to get 21k for my car and buy a lower mileage automatic before Friday.

Have you think about getting a second car? Get an used small DD and save the miles on yor. You might lose some money on that deal from a Z to a Z....

Wow 370z going for 21k

Plus one on getting a 2-3k beater

I've got a cherokee for a driver but I don't enjoy driving it like I do the Z. I figure if I'm going to have to drive, I might as well enjoy the car and like it. With 55k miles do you think the car is worth more with rash on the rims?

It was my 1/4 miles that convinced you to switch, wasn't it? :p

You trying to buy one from a forum member or from a dealership or something? I'll be on the look out for you. I know Econ has a pretty nicely modded automatic for sale in NY for $28k. Not sure if you're looking for something modded or stock. Did you want touring? Sport?

Whats the reason for the switch?? Usually its the other way around because manual is the best thing in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I would think its probably the high mileage, and the resale value, the higher the mileage which equals to wear & tear brings down the value of the car, pretty much hes trying to break even with something else. This may be why, just a guess.

I sold the car this morning to a guy in the Army over at Fort Meade. He says he knew his way around cars and didn't mind that the car would prob need a clutch in the next 6 months. The car getting up in mileage and the manual trans were the reasons I wanted to sell. I sit in stop and go traffic in NYC, Boston and DC quite a bit. I live in Crofton, but work in Arlington, VA but my job keeps me travelling to Boston and NY at least once a week. If it's snowing or raining I drive the Cherokee but if it's nice I like to drive the Z. My clutch most likely had less than 10k miles left due to the miles (and trackdays/quarter mile runs).

Also, I'm going to get an oil cooler installed on a low mileage car due to the car running such high temps on the road this past summer. I also had the clutch stick to the floor multiple times during the 2 trackdays and a few times on the street and that was after changing over to Motul fluid.

Congrats on the sale! Let me know if I can help you find a new one. I have tons of free time at work and in-between classes with nothing better to do :p
