This is a good point. Columbia, Ellicott City, and the like are, with no offense to current residents, "sheshe" places. They're very nice neighborhoods, but you're paying huge for location. There are decent pockets in less reputable parts of town that will give you the same thing, same security, same decent housing, for less money.
