Would this be true for non VA tag holders also that are driving in VA? :shakes head:

Yes sir. The law applies to anyone operating a vehicle in VA, regardless of where it is registered. We are also the only state where it is illegal to have a radar detector.

Best thing to do would be to not give them a reason to pull you over.

Contemplating going to the meet without my front plate tomorrow. I do have a legit reason for having it off, but I don't want them to pull me over for that and then just love me a ticket for my tint or something else.

Drive like a grandmother...

I think I will probably do that and just put the front plate on my dash.

I'd say the best thing I would do if I had illegal tint, which I do, and I were to get pulled over, i'd immediately put both windows down even before I came to a complete stop. I would think you'd be less likely to receive that ticket for tint.

tinted tail lights would be a secondary type ticket though, I would think you'd have to be pulled over for something like speeding, than he may add on the potential tail light ticket.

Depends if you consider DC a state or not, but it is also illegal to run one there.

Yeah but the idea was that I would get pulled over for having no front plate and then get a ticket for the tail lights. No worries though, I was fine :)

Man, I dont have the front license plate on my car, I havent even thought twice about it, I think it takes away from the look of the Z with it on, so I just threw my front plate on the dash. I'll worry about it once I get get pulled over for it, I'll just play dumb. lol:tiphat:

My car came with the holes drilled in already, so i just put it on. I was going to put it on my dash until I realized how dangerous it could be. If I were to get into an accident or something, I don't want that thing flying towards my face or neck.
