Mid-A fuel pump FAIL
Just filled up today and noticed this out of the corner of my eye.
As if 4 dollar per gallon gas was not enough. I watched it for about 10 seconds thinking to myself "who would believe this" then throwing up the  and whipping out my iPhone. Reposted from the general section of the forum since it is relevant to MD.. |
Whiskey tango foxtrot... those sneaky bastards!
f*cking ridiculous.
greedy, greedy, greedy bastiches. |
Uh Oh, busted... I have to agree it's kind of disturbing. I hope you got to fill up for free after than. When I first saw the video post; I thought you completely filled up the car for $46. I just dumped $73 yesterday filling mine up :ugh2:
WTF?!?! Hope you gave that place hell! Hmmm lets see... filler is out of the gas tank, yet the cost continues to rise. Like oil companies need to screw us out of even more money...
That is truly pathetic, their profit margins on gas are small but come on. Did you report them?
Obviously the gas was being teleported into your fuel tank, so you couldn't see it. Knowing this, the gas pump was charging you for the teleported fuel :p
Dude, thats crazy... As for my gas situation, my Z has been retired temporarily, I had to jump on the motorcycle..
So did the pump stop counting? If it did, I suppose the computer itself could have just been lagging severely. It's a computer so it could happen.
Wow.
That's definitely not acceptable -- hope you reported this. BJ Gas or FU Gas? :icon17: |

Have talked to the corporate HQ. As well as MD Department of Weights and Measures.
Good. Report it and weights and measures will perform an inspection on that. I've seen it happen before
I have also forwarded this thread to the consumerist.com so they can post it hopefully.
