brian0128 showed me this. It is on a Sunday after the Fairfax F&F meet. It's on May 1st. Proceeds are for charity. If you guys are interested in going as a group, you have to request group parking ahead of time. I can't go, but this looks like a great time. You can also get your car dyno'ed at the meet. I went last year....it was a blast even tho the weather wasn't so great at the beginning. It eventually cleared up and only the diehards stuck it out. They really frown on burnouts and any other stupidity...they will kick you out. Not that I have to tell that to anyone here but just as an FYI for anyone who goes.

The G's will be rolling in pretty deep again this year.We had about 50 cars their last year and this year we have assigned parking again.

I'd be willing to go to this. It would be sweet to see if we could get a reserved spot next to the G's. Instead of cars and coffee maybe we could do this instead.

I will be going! Tony you can roll in my car. Who else is going!

It's for charity, so to attend it's 1 dollar or one canned food item, but to participate in extra activities, like to get your car dyno'ed, there are extra costs. Click the link in the first post. It takes you to a thread in another forum where the first post lays out all the details. :tup:

Maybe I can switch work days for that weekend.

This is a huge event as there was over 2,000 cars last year...i think thats about right.

We should make a list to see who is going then so we can get an accurate count for reserved parking. It would be nice to be near the 350z's or the G's though.

I'd rather be near the exotics :D

Wooo it's that time of the year again. I went the previous two years and I am glad they moved it to FedEx Field. The Comcast lot was just no where big enough to handle all those cars.

You will be scattered for parking.Just go on the g35driver.com site in the nationalgclub and contact Lek and see if he will get you some special parking with the G's....i dont know if he can though.

I don't even know if I can go yet. If I do go, then It would be cool to get all of us Mid-A Z guys parked in a group

I think it may be too late to request special parking, but this event is indeed this weekend. Wish I could go!

This meet has been CANCELED. Redskins dragged their feet and then the organizers could not get anyone with authority to go through......they were all at the draft. Pretty terrible and crappy for all involved. Be sure to let others know.

That sucks. Hopefully it'll work out next year. Any chance of rescheduling for sometime in the summer?

I doubt it.....it is put on by UMD students...they go home in a few weeks. Fedex is booked out the next couple weeks too I believe. I know SCCA is there on the 15th. Maybe in the fall, but between SCCA and Football games it is unlikely I would think.
