HURRAYYYYYYY you handled that situation like a pro behind the wheels man. Jay looked relieved when he saw you come around that sharp turn.
Yeah I was relieved too when I finally got out and looked at my car, I was expecting a giant mangled mess. Thank god I got away with only a scrape and some wheel rash. The steering wheel shaking had me soooooo worried while I was trying to catch up to you guys.

I ain't got no money for a body shop fix. Thinking more like touch up paint or something. I don't need it to look perfect, just be a lot less noticeable.

Honestly, I'm not gonna say that I will never turn VDC off again. I won't for a while, but I will be a lot more careful next time and not try to push the limits of my car so much. This same sort of thing could have happened on a track with the VDC off too. Hell this road was pretty much like a track, but a lot more bumpy.

You should drive down here some day. There's also ZDayZ, but I won't be there.

Luckily the bumper didn't get any dings or deep cuts in it, you could always purchase touchup paint for the scrapes. No need to spend a fortune on the scratches as it's really not bad man. Other thing you could do could be to go with cool vinyl or sticker over the scratch area...just throwing it out there.

What do you say that next time you have offroad plans, we slap a bumper cover on the car first

I think I'm gonna try the touch up paint. I'm just gonna get a car cover and cutout holes for the windows and a strip to get in through the door.

If you decide to do this yourself instead of having the shop where you got your wing painted at let me know and I'll help you out. It shouldn't be too hard if you get the touch up paint in a spray can. I paint my motorcycle plastics with a spray can.

Wash it with dawn soap, prep it with rubbing alcohol, sand down with 180-320 grit, spray primer, sand primer with wet 600 grit, spray base coat, spray clear coat, wetsand with 1500...then compound it. Don't wax it for 30 days. Edit to add:This still will not look factory. It won't match the surrounding area exactly but you won't see the black scratches.

It wouldn't hurt to stop by the place that painted your wing to get a quote. By the time you buy supplies you could already be out 100 dollars.

That was going to be my next question, I would definitely need some help with it and I appreciate the offer

I don't know what I'm gonna do with it yet. I wanna give it a few days and see if I can live with it as it is. What would happen if I just painted over it with touch up paint?
