It's actually a MKIV Toyota Supra. Doesn't look it though does it? This was one of my favorite Supras back in the day.

One of my favorite body kits evar.

The used to have this kit (in spirit anyway) in the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series. It's gorgeous.

Well, no doubt, but if you accept the ricey nature of it, it's an attractive body kit imo. Take the "good taste" factor out of the way and let go. :roflpuke2:

You're right! Ok, time for me to geek out. I used to play this game until my fingers bled back in high school. Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero was my favorite. Man that brings back memories. Part of the reason I'm in the industry in the first place.

Dude, that Supra is sick.

An update on my situation:

Scheduled and appointment at Sheehy Nissan of Glen Burnie for next Thursday morning. They are fixing the hatch and doing an oil change. I was told I needed 5 qts and that they would charge me only $20 for the filter and oil change :happydance:

I decided to go with Nissan of Glen Burnie since I live only like 5 mins away. If I ever have any problems, I can always switch do a different dealership. Besides, this is where I always go to test drive Nissans for fun. :)

I loved that game. Rollin' around Tokyo, challenging gang members to races, and then racing the "demons". lol it was fricking awesome.

Nice. Remember to check your level before you leave the lot.

I remember the epic guitar solos in the gameplay music. WIN. Funny thing is, I've seen highway racing documentaries from Japan which are not that far off from the game. Especially in the late 80s, early 90s, you had a lot of racing teams and drives in Tokyo. They made a movie about it in the early 90s. Look up 'Freeway Speedway', this was the original Fast & Furious.

After reading this thread I went and checked my trunk release and it does the same thing. I'll add it to the list of issues I plan on having Sheehy Nissan check out when I drop the car off this week.

You going to Sheehy Nissan in Annapolis or Glen Burnie?

Good luck with your car, I hope it doesn't have too many issues. I would recommend for oil changes in general to buy the oil from Walmart, since it's much cheaper there.

Just wanted to chime in...

For the trunk issue, I brought mine (and the TSB of the issue) to Timonium Nissan (Nationwide Nissan). They 'fixed' it by putting in new arm things (the word escapes me) and it did fix the problem. I didn't complain that that wasn't the fix outlined in the TSB as the problem went away. Well, 1yr later it is back.

As for the Mod-friendly, figured I would chime in also. I used to drive a toyota w/ intake, exhaust, headers, 50shot. Pre-50shot the pin came out of my differential. I put everything back to stock, and had it towed to toyota. They replaced the trans (FWD) under warranty and said I had been 'hot rodding' the car, as the exhaust header bolts weren't rusted on as they should be. Then they said never come back. Later on I worked for several different toyota dealerships doing various things from parking cars to oil changes. I had my acc belt replaced w/o taking off my mods at the shop I worked at. Next time I tried to get service done, i was told my car was black listed from toyota, and they wouldn't touch it even to do an oil change. I went to 3 other local dealerships and they all said the same thing.

When I brought the nissan in to timonium for the TSB the service manager questioned me (all friendly, like i wasn't aware of what he was doing) about racing the car, doing mods, and 'being on the message boards, doing stuff'. This is also the dealership that gives 'free oil changes' as long as you pay 200$ to get a 50 point inspection... or just pay 180 for an oil change. I have not been pleased by them, let alone the fact they give you a POS kia as a loaner.
