Local Shop for Tint + Spoiler Installation
Anyone know of a good local shop that can do tint and a spoiler installation? I want to get the windows and tail lights tinted and also have a spoiler installed. Obviously the cheaper the better, but I don't want some place that will do a crappy job. As for now, I'm going with the OEM spoiler that comes with the sports package. If you guys have any suggestions for other ones that would look nice, let me know. Thanks for the help!

Check Hills Garage for the spoiler install. They seem to do good work. I personally have not had anything done there but I've been to their shop and they look really good. Also, another company could be AAM. Either of these can do the spoiler install for you.

I haven't bought it yet. I've been looking on eBay and found one for $139 painted and with free shipping. Here's the link for the listing:
PAINTED NISSAN 370Z 2009-2011 FACTORY STYLE SPOILER - eBay (item 130477994147 end time Feb-20-11 14:03:41 PST) Can anyone tell me if that's a good one to get? It's from a top-rated seller, but I just hope its not some low quality junk. I'm also considering getting tail light and roof overlays from Blue Batmobile here on the forum. Does anyone have any experience with these? How did it turn out? I won't do the install myself, will just get it done from the tint shop. |

I got my tint done at a D&L as well and am happy with the results.
You may want to check out this thread for a price on an oem spoiler. I pm'd the guy for quotes on a few things and he has some really good prices right now. Clearance Sale on EVERYTHING!!!! |

How much did you guys pay for tinting at D & L? I called them but they told me to bring my car in for a better estimate. Anyone get their tail lights done there? I called Hills Garage and they said the spoiler installation would be $150-200. Is that a reasonable price? Last edited by b1adesofcha0s; 02-09-2011 at 12:36 PM. |

I would assume the ebay spoilers are replicas, $379 for the oem spoiler imo is a good deal.
I think I paid in the ball park of $200 for the tint job. I think its pretty standard for shops to charge $99/hr for labor. So I think he is saying it will take them 1.5-2hrs to do the spoiler install. That sounds reasonable to me but I think they should be able to drill a few holes and attach the spoiler in under an hour. But I don't know for sure, I've never done it myself. |

Yeah, I dont like the idea of "replica" I would much rather have a Nissan OEM spoiler. But thats just me.

I would too, but if it looks exactly the same and is of decent quality, then I'm fine with saving a few hundred dollars. Besides, I can buy the eBay spoiler and have it installed for less than the cost of the OEM one.

Thats what Im saying brotha, heck if anything, we could always do something aftermarket that sticks out, and makes your Z different for most likely less.
