Mod Plans for the Year???

Well gang. Its binary day, I know we all have mod plans this year (except for Frank as he does not mod).

What is everyone thinking about doing to their rides this year. I got started early with the coilovers in mid december.

I am going to do a supercharger this spring, once the supercharger fund is at the appropriate level. Will probably do the install myself but take her over to Hills for a final check on the tune.

I also plan on installing a Kiwi Wifi + iMFD module so I can better monitor what is going on with the engine.

Finally if i get really ambitious I am going to replace the triple gauges on the dashboard, but that will require finding another dashboard out of a totaled 370..

Oil cooler, audio stuff, and maybe some suspension bits.

Kirkster 01-01-2011 09:51 AM

Oh yea, Oil cooler is a must this year...

Soooooo.... Nobody in MID-A has any mod plans besides PapoZalsa, and I.

I am pretty sure that Tony will put something else blue on his car this year so he really doesn't count.

As for the rest of you slackers....

Haha you should have posted this up in the Starbucks thread to keep the outsiders out!

As for me... I'm focusing on some other things this year so not much aside from routine maintenance will be done with the Mustang. I might do intake/tune and a short shifter this year, but that is probably it.

2012 might be big though. My 2011 year end bonus will probably go toward a supercharger and suspension.

Will likely do coilovers and a new set of tires. Not sure which type just yet.

Tony is going to do Version 6, 7 and probably 8 this year.

This year I'm going to be cutting back drastically. The only thing I will definitely be doing is getting a set of tires (probably RE-11's) for a spare set of 18's that I have for the track. The only other possible thing I might buy is Sway Bars, but that's it. Not to say I won't be spending money on my car, because I will, but it will be going towards track fee's and traveling expenses.

Nah. You just barely qualify as a Mid-Aer... it all those other people from FL, LA, CA that can't figure out that this post is in the Mid-A section of the forum...

All the Ballers are in Mid-A, hence our 2500+ post lead in the regional forum section...

Blah blah blah, screw you! :)

Honestly, I just click on "New Posts" a few times each day, and see if anything interests me. The title alone doesn't sound like something that would be in regional.

I think I'll look into lowering the car.
Performance Tuning in Manassas has the Tanabe springs which would lower it about an inch front and back.
