Forecast Snow to VA

Newport News School System already closed the schools because of the snow forecast for tomorrow. :ugh2:

This sucks, I bet my base (job) is the last one to announce a delay or closure. :shakes head:

Cannot beleive this $hit, is not even oficially Winter yet and is already snowing here. I think this Winter is going to suck worst than last year.

My a$s is hitting South as soon as I can, I tired of this cold!

You'd better go way South. I'm near Louisville, KY and it's cold here too. Freezing rain, snow and sleet forecast for here.

Just be glad you don't live in Utah. We've allready had 4 storms that have dumped over all at least 3 or 4 feet. Ski resorts were open before Thanksgiving

It's the beginning of South. (or at least where the total amount of teeth begins to drop).

I can't believe how lame everyone is around here when just the mention of a chance of snow closes school and business.

According to the forecast it not suppose to start snowing until like 2:00PM down here. :dunno:

:shakes head: Up here in MN, we don't close schools until there's so much snow that the buses can't get through the streets. That means the recent snow storm we had which collapsed the Metrodome was enough to delay schools for a couple of days.

Now it's snowing again.

The schools also allow kids to go outside and play until the temps are below 0º F...

lol I always hear this from MN pplz!!! MD freaks out at the slightest precipitation. 1" of snow on the ground, and everyone stocks up on milk, bread, tp, and other essentials in case they get snowed in. :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

I LOL'd last week when a buddy of mine in El Paso thought we didn't go to work when it snowed this much or the temps went into the negatives. People are funny when it gets cold.

I've just learned to go with it here, pretty much like the rest of the state. Weather doesn't bother the indigenous peoples...lol

Crap... I forgot the milk while I was out. Streets are already nasty if you are still running the summer tires. :eek2:

Already home and it is getting worse by the hour...

My friend owns a garage in Fairfax. I had made an appointment with him this morning to get my HFC's installed. No problem at 8am when I got there, but it was a mess by the time I left after 11. Wow, the 24 mile drive back to DC was not fun. It was a huge relief when I finally pulled into my garage.

PapoZalsa 12-16-2010 02:54 PM

It did snow down here but not that bad. I was released from work around 11:30AM.

Probably school delay tomorrow and maybe work if it doesn't freezes tonight.
