2010 University of Maryland Spring Meet for Charity
hosted by College Park Tuning

• Thousands of different cars
• Dyno pulls
• BBQ
• Live DJ
• 50/50 Raffle
• Raffle Prizes

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (Martha's Table | Serving the needs of the Washington, DC community through food, learning, healthy living, recreational and family support services.).

Time
Noon, 12:00 pm. If you show up before this time you will NOT be let into the parking lot

Food
• BBQ, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs on the grill
• Soft drinks and other refreshments

Dyno
• $75.00 for 2 - 3 baseline pulls w/ A/F and printout
• If you are interested in dynoing your car, please send an email to collegeparktuning@gmail.com . We are trying to have people pre-register for the dyno.


Basic Rules
1. No tents
2. No alcohol
3. No scandalous attire (this is a family event)
4. Chairs are permitted everywhere but a parking space
5. No saving spaces

In......the majority, perhaps more of the g35's/350z's from D&V, will be there as well.

Some of us will be up there!

We will roll out at 10:30am to meet with the NGC and rest of the Z guys at REI in college park then heading to the meet as a caravan

Just FYI a couple of the Z's of several of the G's will be leaving early because we/they are getting in early to set-up and have 40 spots reserved. All these have been filled. The second group is still meeting at the spot and time provided bye *ICE*.

I wish I had a reserved spot. :( Maybe next year! :p

The hope is that the others get there early enough we can still park together. LEK, who is the organizer/president of NGC, sponsored the event and was able to secure 40 spots, but no more. 30 of those went to G35/37's and 10 to z's.

Also, its going to hot so bring sun block and a chair......as it is a fairly long duration event.

Checking through the Ngc and 350Z forums is getting a little confusing, but i'll be there.It's supposed to be like 80 degrees out that motha'!Bringing the Z, still breaking her in.

Woooo - I went to this last year. Its an AMAZING show. I will be there this year, too. Might be bringing my dad, also.

Sounds like a good place to meet to me - thats a short drive from my place.

You ever go to this? There was at least somewhere around 1000ish cars last year I think. It was CRAZY - I'd never seen something so big. I almost am hesitant to say, that meeting up at 10:30 is too late - it was so crowded when I got there around noon I think...all the good spots were taken.

Whereabouts are you? Noon on a Sunday shouldnt be TOO bad driving away from DC, but it still may suck...

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe even earlier.....even if I have to just park someplace nearby and wait until the gates open that works for me.

What a gorgeous morning it was, heading to work. Should be nice, seeing as I'll have to wake up around 8:00ish just to clean the car up and get a nice coat of wax on before the meet-up.

All set for tomorrow! Got my little cheap arse styrofoam cooler and some Gatorade to keep me going! I got a feeling it's gonna be nasty hot out there.

Yes, BRING WATER. It was BAD last year, they ran out VERY fast and it was expensive!!

I clay bar-ed my car for an hour or so today, just so when I clean it up tomorrow morning, the wax will go on nicely. Getting VERY EXCITE

So.....food and drinks.....not free, huh?

NGC members are bringing a lot of snacks, water, etc.....but I wouldn't rely on them. It will go quickly. I am just going to bring a little cooler with 6ish waters to be safe. I know someone was talking about bringing a grill, etc, but who knows how much food there will be if 100+ people show up for a burger or something. The NGC/Z crowd will be about the same number, perhaps a few more, as the D&V meet. Sunblock, water, and a chair are going to be the essentials though.

Nuff said, man - they have vendors there for the fundraiser. Definitely not all free. Bring snacks if you wanna stay a bit, and definitely bring some water - plenty of it!

BTW, the line you see in pic 1 and pic 2? That was for water.
