PLEASE kill me....
... My car is getting fixed and my rental car is a Chevy HHR. Every time I get in it, I die a little inside....
|
You'll need to PM Frost, he may have homicidal tendencies!
P.S., if he kills you can I have your car when it's fixed! After all I did recommend him! |
Better than taking the bus! ....LoL

the dealership in Timonium gives you a Hyundai elantra for a loaner. Manual locks, and windows. Automatic. There was a CD player, surprise surprise, but it was also a smoker vehicle and smelled terrible.
When I walked out into the service lane the attendant gave me that 'I know... sorry' look. My 'I give you a 330HP monster Z, you give me a manual window elantra?!?' didn't get anywhere either. Then they said the work wouldn't be done till after the weekend, and asked if i wanted to keep the loaner or come get my car for the weekend, yea hard decision there. |
I with you:facepalm:. Took my wife's Audi Q5 in for repairs and the only thing they said they could do was a Chevy Cobalt for a loaner. Just like you manual windows, manual seats, and not comfortable either.
Yeah, they should at least give up something comparable for a loaner. At least at BMW they give you another BMW...even if it is a 3 series. But like was mentioned earlier...... better than walking or taking the bus....:twocents: |

At first when you said HHR I thought you meant this, and I was like "wtf, what a cool rental! That thing has a Corvette engine!"
http://images.travelpod.com/users/th...hevy-truck.jpg Then I realized it was this thing and I was like, "oh, sorry dude" http://www.max71.com/wpress/wp-conte...4511990004.jpg |
If only it was this one:
http://image.automotive.com/f/featur...custom_hhr.jpg A 6.0L Gen IV LS2 V-8 fitted with a polished MagnaCharger supercharger replaced the factory four-banger, and a Griffin radiator cools the 525hp powerplant, while an Old Products air conditioner chills the driver and passenger. Mated to the engine is a 4L65E four-speed automatic tranny; the gear ratio was changed to 3.25:1. A rack-and-pinion setup replaces the stock electric, power-assisted rack-and-pinion. Front and rear coilovers smooth out a ride punctuated by 18-1/2-inch Weld Racing Tech-Star wheels and P245/40ZR18 g-Force BFGoodrich tires leashed by Baer's PBR two-piston front and rear disc brakes. I got to see this guy in person right after it was finished (had some friends that worked there) and it was badass. Too bad the owner was a bastard and brought the company down. Still wearing my UP shirt today though  |
I've had it for 4 days now. It's the biggest POS ever. I literally say a prayer ever morning as I try to gain enough speed on the on-ramp. This thing has to take over 10 seconds 0-60. I can't take it anymore. The seats are so upright and open (the console in the middle is on the floorboard) that I feel like a bus driver.
It's bright red. My friends call it "the red rocket". |

When I rent a car I always get a HHR or the other piece of junk Chrysler that looks alike.
At least my Nissan dealer gives me an Altima. The last time I had my old 350Z in the shop I got a Cadillac CTS from the insurance company, baller! :D |
