On my account, it says 'Red Line 5W30 Synthetic Oil - 1 Quart, Pack of 12'. That's the best deal I could find on this oil after looking all over.

yep thats exactly what I've been doing. Brick and mortar stores don't seem to carry red line oil near me.

JRP on Dorsey road near BWI has it. I always go and hit them up for my Redline.

im guessing you or the nissan guy meant that the nissan filter sits flushly in the air box ie. its exactly the right size that theres no gaps around it so no particles can squeeze by. Just my guess.

correct.

I take it lots on ppl on here use k&N filters so I wont worry. I know AK's post on DIY oil change he has used that filter.

Took it back to Rosenthal for an oil change last week and got yet another free one! :driving:

My odometer just reached 1200 miles. I'm thinking of getting redline oil and bring it to Criswell Nissan when it's time to change my oil. $12~$20 is not that bad for labor.

Should be good. Do you live in germantown?

I know this thread is like 5 months old, but I been searching around looking for a good reputable place to bring my own oil and filter and get my oil changed in the Alexandria/Landmark/Kingstowne area for just labor.

I seen a bunch of people on here recommend Chantilly, but thats just too far for me for a simple change. I live in a highrise apt, so changing myself isn't happening.

Anybody here go to a good place?
