My tinting was done by Auto Spa in Woodbridge, VA I don't remember the exact cost as it was wrapped into total for Ventureshield install but I haven't had any issues with it.

they had two pretty big scratches going down the rear fender about 3 - 4 inches long. they buffed it out for me and cut the price down a little and i can BARELY see it now but i was still pretty upset... :shakes head:

If you wanna take a quick ride down Rt. 50 to Annapolis there is a guy at 151 Motorsports, did an excellent job on mine last weekend. 50 is a fun drive also, bout 35 minutes from Alexandria

And that's the reason why when I dropped my Smurf off this afternoon to get the remainder of my modifications.......I added tint windows to the "To Do" list.

Yes, after seeing persimmon in 35% tint and could easily still be seen thru the windows.....I'm going for it! Next Saturday I should have EVERYTHING installed (except the CF rear spoiler.....its still not shipped).

madelf 04-05-2010 07:52 PM

It will look sweeeeeeet.....

It's like it was never there now. Even when I left Saturday....everything was perfect. Had my aunt drive it when I got home and she asked me what I had been smoking. :icon17:

I dunno, I swear I felt it.....but now it's absolutely perfect.

Not in VA, but figured I'd add on to this as a mid-atlantic tint thread...

I got mine done by Baltimore Tint LLC Window Tinting Auto, Residential, Commercial Tint in MD, Maryland
The guy works out of IAG Performance - Subaru Performance Parts & Service. IAG Home - www.iagperformance.com in westminster.
He had options to do about every 10%. I went with 20% and did everything but the windshield. $185 lifetime warranty, and if you pay an additional ~$20 that covers ANYTHING (you could knife it yourself and they would replace it).

A few days in, driverside tint started to peel due to the auto window down thing. Replaced it a week later (to make sure the rest was good), free and nice and easy. The guy did great on the cuts tint, and I was very happy with it.

That's a good thing.......something you don't have to worry about................................unless it comes back.....<grin>.....just kidding:icon17:
