Tuning shops in VA?

is there any respectable tuning shops in VA?

particularly those who specialize in Zs.................

i only saw a couple........

Performance-tuning and function-tuned....................but i do not have any idea how their expertise and reputation are.........

i know function-tuned just opened recently.........they do specialize in Zs, but.....

none of these to participate in 370z forum......or am i mistaken...........

there are mixed reviews for AAM.............i have not dealt with them, so i cannot say anything for myself.....

The only Z shop in this area that I would take mine to is AAM. I'm not impressed with Function Tuned.

The guys at AAM are great -- very friendly -- and will give you a full tour of their shop. Very impressive.

Altered has done all my work so far and I've been extremely pleased with their work and support.

AAM for me, too. And I'll use them again when I decide on my new exhaust.

You guys just need to do exhaust work on your own. :P

BC, I may have already sent you this in a PM, but this is my first real stroll through the mid-A forums...

I highly recommend P-Tuning in Manassas... ask for Mr. C and tell him Dan from Hi-Tec Designs sent you. They have a huge shop with below-grade lifts and digital alignment (great for alignments with slammed cars, no blocks to drive over just to get the car on the lift), a fully enclosed and exhausted dyno room, and Keurig coffee/hot chocolate to go with your movie on the LCD in their showroom

Just the nicest group of guys who actually care about customer service before AND after the fact... I'm unable to say that about about quite a few speed shops I've visited over the years in multiple states. They'll help you to understand the pros/cons of every mod you want to install, and do so in layman's terms, if necessary. They also race their own shop cars.

BTW, I have no affiliation with them other than a satisfied customer (been taking my modded S2000 there since I moved to MD).
