Today was great fun! It's always nice to hang with the folks who were there. The highlight, though, was when this old man came up with his grandson (I assume) to check out the cars. Steve F. let the boy get behind the wheel of his roadster, and the expression on the kid's face was priceless That just made my day.

I'll pile on -- good to see everyone -- definitely made a little kid's day -- of course he immediately went to the roadster...<grin>
Sushi was "OK", Fried seafood was GREAT!

FYI, I went out to Sandy Point today after I got back from cars and coffee. Sandy Point is a MD state park located just before you get onto the bay bridge. It is very large with tons of parking space and BBQ grills, the beach, etc. The park costs 3 bucks to get into and is huge! When I pulled into their enormous parking area there were a bunch of four wheel drive trucks all lined up just like us at Starbucks having their own little meet! I thought man, this would be a great place to have a BBQ and chill out for an afternoon. Maybe at some point this spring I can plan something and we can all make it out there for an afternoon of Zs and BBQ.

I'd be interested in a nice spring BBQ, especially out over by the water. Sounds interesting, Jon!

Shahid, I believe you may be mistaken on the 2.5hrs. I checked the distance from Glen Burnie to Sandy Point and it is about 25 miles depending on what route you take. That is about half an hour drive for you.

Yeah, you're right Jon. I should have searched for "Sandy Point State Park" instead of "Sandy Point, MD" in Google maps. If this was the day of the bbq and I had manned up for the drive, I would have missed it all together |

Yeah, we'll need to consider sooner rather than into Summer.

I think once the weather gets consistently warm would be a good time. Probably some time in April/May.
How about we do another cruise like the one we did last week and for lunch we just have the bbq.
