Speaking of sushi, since you're a bit apprehensive about trying some again - ask what they have that is cooked, specifically. I recommend tempura shrimp all day long.

oh shrimp tempura is great. I was told on meetup that Todai is a buffet so im sure ill find something I like. Im not picky, just not a fan of uncooked food, but if im hungry enough ill eat anything.

Todai has a TON of different food, not just sushi. Most of us typically leave there in a food coma

I don't think it's worth the 1 hr 15 min drive there and 2 hr+ drive back home and having to wake up early
