Anyone in the Mid-A have headers or test pipes on their car? I want to see how bad the smell of death is since that's the only thing keeping me from getting a set.

We followed red6spd from VA to NC and not only was it loud but the exhaust made our eyes water...

b1ades, we aren't joking. And it doesn't matter what brand. Test pipes are test pipes are test pipes... they ALL smell the same... like absolute sh1t. Just listen to us and forget the idea. Stick to stock cats or HFCs.

i've got test pipes on my nismo... and i don't mind them at all, they don't stink tho.

Yeah I get it. I just get all excited watching videos and crap. Since I have never seen/smelled it in person I have no clue how bad it actually is. Just that one first time should be enough to scare me away forever

That's why I like to see stuff in person first. Every person has a different opinion or tolerance for certain things, so checking it out in person gives you some perspective on whether you could live with it or not.

I heard test pipes in person, they are unbelievably loud. I doubt you would be willing to take it on a daily basis. You'll probably get hate at your internship for having a really loud car.
