He only cited me for 80mi in a 70 tho, have to call to figure out fine... Almost got pulled over a second time same night lol... I was being stubborn and wouldn't let an suv pass me, so eventually he got real pissed and just gunned it, he was going 90+ in a 65 and I was goin 80+, the PoPo pulled out and followed him instead of me... phew... The next night my friend got pulled over driving my car lol... Lets just say he went really fast in a 35mi zone and we both. The officer was sooooo pissed, he was like... "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE SPEED LIMIT IS SON!? I clocked you in at 60mph before I lost you and you were still accelerating." Of course, my friend pulls out a fop card so when he came back from his cruiser, he was more pissed at me for letting him drive. He was like "WHY DID YOU LET HIM DRIVE YOUR CAR? WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF HE CRASHED IT!??". Then he said something like... "the officer I just called, he said for me to use my own judgement in this situation and I could put you both in jail and impound your car. One for reckless driving and the other (me) for 'wrongful entrustment', BUT... I'm not going to, I'm giving you this warning citation..." After all this, I was like... if that were me driving... I'd be in deep ****. We were both so ******* freaked out the whole time lol... I think I learned not to speed from this incident more than my own ticket... Then literally like 20min later that night some dbag in a Pontiac GT was egging us on and we were like... Nope... no more speeding for a long time lol... Oh man... crazy weekend... |

Slow yo' roll, son. Better slow down before you give us all a bad name.

Also, years ago I drove 160 miles (of a 300 mile trip) through the mountains in a snow storm... when I finally made it home:
I survived by following in the tracks of 18 wheelers. They'd clear enough snow for me to be able to drive down the highway at around 35mph safely as long as I didn't stray outside of the tracks. Once I got off the highway I was on my own... in some places the snow was 6" deep and I was the only car forging through. I didn't do anything that would slow my momentum down, so I didn't stop for red lights or stop signs. Not that it mattered because I was the only car on the road... I should have stopped ahead of the storm and checked into a hotel room... afterall classes were cancelled the following day.

I guess I was lucky I caught the storms as they were coming down, rather than after 6 feet of snow lol... I just hope all that salt and dirt doesn't hurt my car...

It's too late to worry about that... Nissan paint and clear is notoriously terrible. You just have to learn not to stress about it too much.

Not everyone gets to drive around with a get out of jail free card like you.
